Hello to all friends today I am going to post about how can you increase you broadband speed in XP. so guys follow the given below steps to do this ...
1) First u Click on Start Button.
2) Then Select Run From Start Menu.
3) Now Type gpedit.msc
4) Expand the [Administrative Templates] branch.
5) Then Expand the [Network] branch.
6) Highlight(Select by Single Click) [QoS Packet Scheduler]
7) Double-click [Limit Reservable Bandwidth] (Available in Right Side Panel)
8) Check(Select By Single Click on it) [Enabled]
9) Change [Bandwidth limit %] to 0 %
10) Click [OK] Button.
11) Restart Your PC.
12) Now Check Your Broadband Speed.
Requirements:-
- A Computer.
- A Wireless Card capable of packet injection.
- A Live installation of BackTrack either on a CD or USB stick.
1. Boot into BackTrack
2. Click on the Backtrack applications menu -> Backtrack -> Exploitation tools -> Wireless exploitation -> WLAN Exploitation -> gerix-wifi-cracker-ng (This will open up the GUI interface seen in the picture).
3. Go to the configuration menu and select the wireless interface wlan0
-Click on Enable/Disable Monitor Mode (this will put the wireless card into monitor mode).
-Select the newly created mon0 interface.
4. Now click on the WEP tab at the top of the window.
-Click on "Start sniffing and logging" and leave the terminal open.
-Once the wireless network you want to crack* shows up (it has to be WEP encryption of course) select the WEP Attacks (with clients). *note that the PWR has to be high enough to work so the closer you can get, the better.
-There you click on “Associate with AP using fake auth”, wait a few seconds and click on “ARP request replay”.
5. Once the Data number reaches over 10,000 you are ready to try (if the data is coming fast wait until 20 or 30,000 to be safe) and crack the key, but don't close any windows yet.
-Go to the cracking tab and click on “Aircrack-ng – Decrypt WEP password” under Wep Cracking.
Within a few minutes password will be cracked
Some times it becomes necessary to block and unblock internet website on our Computers for one or other reason.
Procedure to block an unblock internet sites:
Example :
127.0.0.1 localhost
210.210.19.82 www.sifymall.com
Sifymall is now unaccessable . For every site after that you want block , just add "1" to the last number in the internal ip (127.0.0.2) and then the add like before.

- Go to Start and type RUN .
- Type C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
- Open the file "HOSTS" in a notepad
- Under "127.0.0.1 localhost" . Add IP Name
- IP - IP of the site to be blocked
- Name - Name of the site (see the pic below for example

Click Install
Select Ur Network Connection From The List
Click Ok
Now u have installed the Internet Usage Meter
It will be showing the Reading on Right Top of your DeskTop

2. Run your vlc then click Media->open network stream..
3. then paste URL in 'please enter network URL:'
4. Then click ' Play ' button in the player.
5. Then Now, click Tools – Codec Information and at the bottom of the window you will see a Location box. Copy the long URL in the box and paste it on your browser’s address bar. The browser will now start playing the video file. You can download the video file to your desktop by doing a Save As…. Or you can choose to record the video.

Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are usually of two types: Public and Private.
What are Public IP Addresses?
A
public IP address is assigned to every computer that connects to the
Internet where each IP is unique. In this case, there cannot exist two
computers with the same public IP address all over the Internet.
This addressing scheme makes it possible for the computers to “find each
other” online and exchange information. User has no control over the IP
address (public) that is assigned to the computer. The public IP
address is assigned to the computer by the Internet Service Provider as
soon as the computer is connected to the Internet gateway.
A public IP address can be either static or dynamic.
A static public IP address does not change and is used primarily for
hosting web pages or services on the Internet. On the other hand, a
dynamic public IP address is chosen from a pool of available addresses
and changes each time one connects to the Internet.
Most
Internet users will only have a dynamic IP assigned to their computer
which goes off when the computer is disconnected from the Internet. Thus
when it is re-connected it gets a new IP.

An
IP address is considered private if the IP number falls within one of
the IP address ranges reserved for private networks such as a Local Area
Network (LAN). The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has
reserved the following three blocks of the IP address space for
private networks (local networks):
Private
IP addresses are used for numbering the computers in a private network
including home, school and business LANs in airports and hotels which
makes it possible for the computers in the network to communicate with
each other.
Say for example, if a network X consists of 10 computers, each of them can be given an IP starting from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.10. Unlike
the public IP, the administrator of the private network is free to
assign an IP address of his own choice (provided the IP number falls in
the private IP address range as mentioned above).
Devices
with private IP addresses cannot connect directly to the Internet.
Likewise, computers outside the local network cannot connect directly to
a device with a private IP. It is possible to interconnect two private
networks with the help of a router or a similar device that supports Network Address Translation.
If
the private network is connected to the Internet (through an Internet
connection via ISP), then each computer will have a private IP as well
as a public IP. Private IP is used for communication within the network
where as the public IP is used for communication over the Internet. Most
Internet users with a DSL/ADSL connection will have both a private as
well as a public IP.
You can know your private IP by typing ipconfig command in the command prompt. The number that you see against “IPV4 Address:” is your private IP which in most cases will be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2. Unlike the public IP, private IP addresses are always static in nature.

Step 1 : Download UNIVERSAL MASTER CODE (software) by THL
Step 2 : Now take your USB modem and see its back , you will see a 15 digit number and that’s your modem’s IMEI number .
Open notepad and type that IMEI no.
Step 3 : Now double click on the downloaded file of Universal Master Code and extract it then click on Universal Master Code.exe
Step 4 : In the IMEI number field of Universal Master Codetype , enter the IMEI number which you have already typed in notepad and press calculate.
It will generate a flash and unlock code.
Step 5 : Now connect your USB IDEA net setter and install net setter software from there and run it and also put a non IDEA SIM.
It will ask you for unlock code , also it will show u have 10 attempts ,simply put the unlock code generated from universal master code
And press enter while u have unlocked your IDEA net setter
Now for creating new profile go to Tools > Options > Profile Management and click new
Type APN supported by your sim (eg – for BSNL use bsnlnet as apn ) , leave everything as it is and you can connect easily after that.
